Reuse / Recycle Books |
Help keep used books in good condition out of our landfills. An appropriate textbook, library or reference book is a very precious resource to a student or teacher at a school with no books. The reuse of quality books just makes sense.

Bookfriends has developed working relationships with United States middle schools, high schools, and public libraries which typically replace their books while they are still in relatively good condition. We also accept books from private donations, local book drives and publishing companies. The reuse of these valuable educational materials improves educational opportunities in Africa and helps support a greener global climate. Donate Books.
Our donated books are primarily stored at our corporate location in Wauconda, Illinois until they can sorted, packed and shipped for waiting students and teachers in Africa. Bookfriends International is grateful for the support from individuals and organizations. We rely on our many volunteers to process books and complete administrative tasks.

Bookfriends International, NFP ships books only to schools with whom we have a direct relationship so that we can accurately determine their book needs and establish a successful delivery process. Shipping text books and library books from America to Africa is very expensive. We need the support of many individuals and groups to fulfill our mission. Donate Money.
